Dr. Edwards was born and raised locally in Princeton, WV. He is a graduate of WVU School of Medicine in Morgantown, WV. He completed his residency training at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV in 2000. He has been in practice for the past 26 years. 


Robert Edwards, M.D., F.A.C.O.G. (Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists) is a licensed and board-certified physician. He has been licensed by the boards of medicine for both Virginia and West Virginia. Dr. Edwards has also been certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is accredited by the AIUM (American Institute of Ultrasound In Medicine).
